Gavin Josh Daguino
I am Gavin Josh Revicente Daguino, currently pursuing a Master in Information Technology at De La Salle University - Dasmariñas, which I began in January 2024. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the National College of Science and Technology, where I graduated in September 2023. My academic experiences have laid a strong foundation for my current role as a College Instructor at the National College of Science and Technology, where I teach subjects such as Introduction to Computing, Computer Programming, Data Structures and Algorithms, Mobile Systems and Applications, and Web System Technologies, among others.
Previously, I served as an Instructor of Java Programming at NCST IIRT. My technical skills include Web Development, Web Design, Application Development, and Photo and Video Editing. These abilities have led to notable achievements, such as being awarded the Most Outstanding Undergraduate Research Award for my work on an enterprise resource planning system for hotel and resort management, and winning the Web Design Competition during NCST's Computer Studies Week in 2023.
I've also had the opportunity to share my knowledge in speaking engagements, such as one in January 2024 at NCST, where I discussed front-end and back-end web development with Bootstrap and Laravel PHP Artisan Framework. In July 2023, I conducted a session for iBook Publishing Inc. that covered web development fundamentals using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
In terms of leadership and affiliations, I am currently the Adviser of NCST CHIPS for the academic year 2023-present. Prior to this, I was the President of NCST CHIPS from 2021 to 2023 and represented the organization in the Cavite Provincial Youth Development Council. I have also held leadership roles with the Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines - City of Dasmariñas Chapter, and SK San Mateo where I served as Katipunan ng Kabataan Leader and Editor.
